India Post GDS 2023 Selection Process:
- The selection is based on the performance rankings automatically created according to the rules based on the applications submitted online.
- The ranking is based on the grades achieved / conversion of grades / points into grades from the 10th Standard / the accepted examination boards for the Baccalaureate in aggregated percentages with an accuracy of 4 decimal places. Passing all subjects according to the relevant standards approved by the committee is compulsory.
- Weightage is not considered for higher educational qualification.
- Merits would be determined according to the following order of precedence: – “DOB (senior age), ST Trans-woman, ST Female, SC Trans-woman, SC Female, BOBC Trans-woman, BOBC Female, EWS Trans-woman, EWS Female, RU Trans-woman, UR Female, ST -Trans-male, ST male, SC trans-male, SC male, OBC trans-male, OBC male, EWS trans-male, EWS male, UR trans-male, UR male.
India Post GDS 2023 Application Fee:
- Candidate requires to make a Fee Payment of Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) for the online submission of application. However, the following category is exempted for fee payment, all female / trans-woman candidates and all SC/ST candidates.
- Fee Payment can be made only through online in the same portal.
- All types of payment modes like recognized Credit/Debit cards, Net Banking and UPI. Payment Gateway Charges as applicable are to borne by the candidate’s in addition to the fee.
