Eligibility Criteria for S.S.C., S.S.A./ U.D.C. Recruitment 2023
The examination body has issued the qualifying criteria and age restriction for S.S.C. departmental recruitment 2023. Candidates can consult the official notice for further information on the S.S.C. Recruitment 2023 Eligibility criterion.
Age Limit :
- Candidates shall not be older than 50 years old as of the crucial/cutoff date for the recruitment years 2018 & 2019, as defined by their respective Cadre Controlling Authority.
- Where an upper age restriction of 50 years is stipulated for promotion to a Service/ Cadre, it should be lowered by 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
Salary SSC SSA, U.D.C. 2023
The shortlisted applicants for S.S.C. Senior Secretariat Assistant (S.S.A.) and Upper Division Clerk (U.D.C.) vacancies would be paid monthly at Grade Pay Level-4 (Rs 25500 – Rs. 81100).

- Part I (Computer-Based Examination and Written Exam)
- Part II (Evaluation of Service Record)
Furthermore, the selection procedure includes a written exam. The candidate should be aware that the test will only be held in Delhi by the Staff Selection Commission.
Meanwhile, candidates should be reminded that after completing the online application form, a hard copy of the same, together with the requisite papers, should be given to the address by their appropriate Service/Cadre Controlling Authority by November 22.

How to Apply for the SSC SSA/UDC Recruitment 2023
- Go to the S.S.C. official website: ssc.nic.in.
- On the home page, click the ‘Register Now’ option for one-time registration.
- After filling out the essential information, candidates must validate their mobile number and email address. The registration number and password will be emailed to the registered email address and mobile phone number.
- Candidates must provide their Registration Number and password to log in.
- Fill up the relevant S.S.C. application data.
- Include a photograph, signature, and other relevant papers in your upload.
- Submit the application form and print a copy of the completed application form for future reference.
Note : After completing the online application form, the printed copy of the same should be forwarded by their respective Service/Cadre Controlling Authority to “The Regional Director, Staff Selection Commission (Northern Region), Block No.12, C.G.O.
