Age Limit of Assam Police Recruitment 2023
Boatman/ Constable/ Driver Constable: The candidate should be between 18 and 25 as of January 1, 2023. Candidate must have been born on or before January 1, 2005, and on or after January 1, 1998.
Sub Inspector (UB): The candidate should be between 20 and 26 as of January 1, 2023. Candidate must have been born on or before January 1, 2003, and on or after January 1, 1997.
Grade IV (Assam Commando Battalions): The candidate should be between 18 and 25 as of January 1, 2023. Candidate must have been born on or before January 1, 2005, and on or after January 1, 1998.
Grade IV (Assam Police/DGCD & CGHG): The candidate should be between 18 and 40 on January 1, 2023. The candidate must have been born on or before January 1, 1983, and on or after January 1, 1998.

Educational Qualification : Assam Police Recruitment 2023
Grade IVCandidates must have completed the eighth grade at a recognized school or institution. The highest qualification shall be HSSLC or Class XII from a recognized Board or Council. Candidates must also hold diplomas in the relevant trades, if applicable.

Medical Standard Requirement : Assam Police Recruitment 2023
Candidates must satisfy specific medical requirements, such as not having knocked knees, flat feet, or slanted eyes. They should not be colorblind either. Varicose veins are seen as a temporary disqualifier. Additionally, candidates must be in excellent mental and physical health, devoid of physical abnormalities, and free of disorders such as diabetes, heart disease, hernia, piles, respiratory diseases, or any other condition that may impair their capacity to execute activities efficiently. Without corrective lenses, their distance vision should be at least 6/6 in one eye and no worse than 6/9 in the other. Near eyesight should be OK.
Selection Process : Assam Police Recruitment 2023
Physical Standards Tests (PST) and Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) will be administered to candidates who have submitted complete applications. Suppose a candidate is discovered to have a physical deformity during these examinations, as judged by the Medical Officer on the Selection Committee. In that case, they will be prohibited from participating in the subsequent exams.
