Educational Qualifications for Apprentice Posts:- Selection will be based on a merit list generated for all candidates who apply in response to the announcement. The merit list will be compiled based on the percentage of marks obtained in matriculation (minimum of 50% aggregate) plus ITI marks in the trade in which the Apprenticeship will be completed. The panel would be based on a simple average of matriculation and ITI grades.

Age Limit:-

Candidates must be between the ages of 15 and 24 as of August 29, 2023. The age mentioned on the Matriculation or Birth certificate must be used strictly for this reason.
The upper age limit is relaxed by 05 years for SC/ST applicants, 3 years for OBC candidates, and 10 years for physically disabled candidates.
The upper age limit for ex-servicemen is relaxed by an additional 10 years, up to the extent of service rendered in the Defence Forces plus 03 years, provided they have put in a minimum of 06 months service at a stretch, except for ex-servicemen who have already joined the Govt. Service on the Civil side after obtaining Ex-servicemen status for their engagement.

Selection Process:- Selection will be made based on a merit list generated (trade-wise) for all candidates who apply in response to the notification in their respective trades. The merit list for each trade will be generated based on the percentage of marks received in Matriculation with a minimum of 50% (aggregate) marks. To calculate the percentage of matriculation, applicants’ marks in all subjects will be considered, rather than marks in any one subject or combination of courses.

Central Railway Recruitment 2023 Application Fees.

After completing the Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2023 application form, candidates must pay the Apprenticeship application fee using the payment gateway on the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC Mumbai) website included with the online application.
