Educational Qualification: North Western Railway Sports Quota
- Pay Level 1 (GP 1,800): Matriculation (10th pass) or ITI is required for positions.
- Pay Level 2/3 (GP 1,900/2000) Posts: 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University OR A pass in Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board and having ITI certificate may also be eligible to be posted as Tech-III.
- Pay Level 4 (GP 2,400) Posts: 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent from a recognized Board/University, and for the skill test suggested dictation speed of 80 W.P.M. duration of 10 minutes, and transcription time is 50 minutes (English) and 65 minutes (Hindi).
- Pay Level 5 (GP 2,800) For the job of Signal Maintainer Grade-I, a Degree/Graduation or its equivalent from a recognized institution, OR a Pass in B.Sc. from a recognized university, is required.

Age limit / Salary / Selection process: North Western Railway Sports Quota
- Age limit: The age limit for the position is a minimum of 18 years and a maximum of 25 years as of 01.01.2024, i.e. born between 02.01.1999 and 01.01.2006. There must be no age relaxation (upper or lower age restriction).
- Salary: Candidates will be paid according to their degree of experience. Level 4: Rs. 25500-81100, Level 5: Rs. 29200-92300, and Level 2: Rs. 19900-63200, Level 3: Rs. 21700-69100.
- Selection Process: The recruitment will be based on trials and evaluation of athletic accomplishments, educational qualifications, and a final merit list.
