1. Domicile Requirement:
Only Indian Nationals who are domiciles of the following states/UTs are eligible to apply: Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
2. Educational Qualification:
- Graduate / Diploma Apprentices: Candidates should possess a Full-time (Regular) Four years Degree or Three years (Regular) Diploma in Engineering in the relevant streams recognized by AICTE, GOI.
- ITI Trade Apprentices: Candidate should possess an ITI/NCVT certificate in the specified trades from an institution recognized by AICTE, GOI.
- Passing Year Rule: Only candidates who passed their degree/diploma in the year 2024 or after 2024 are eligible to apply.
3. Age Limit (As on 16.09.2026):
- Minimum Age: 18 years.
- Maximum Age: 26 years.
- (Relaxation in the upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD categories is applicable as per Govt. of India guidelines).
4. Disqualification Conditions:
- Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training, terminated it midway, or have 1 year or more of job experience are NOT eligible.
Stipend / Salary Details
During the 12-month training period, apprentices will receive a fixed monthly stipend. (The stipend consists of an AAI share and a Govt. share through Direct Benefit Transfer – DBT).

1. Selection Methodology:
- Provisional selection will be made based on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying examination (Degree/Diploma/ITI).
- In case of a tie, the older candidate by date of birth will be prioritized.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification and Interview through their registered email IDs.
- Final selection is subject to document verification and submission of a Medical Fitness Certificate.
