The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the notification for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP CSA-XVI) for the recruitment of Customer Service Associates (CSA). This recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 11,403 anticipated vacancies in the clerical cadre for the financial year 2027-28 across various participating Public Sector Banks.

To apply for the IBPS CRP CSA-XVI recruitment, candidates must strictly fulfill the following parameters:
1. Age Limit (As on 01.08.2026)
- Minimum Age: 20 years.
- Maximum Age: 28 years.
- A candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.08.1998 and not later than 01.08.2006 (both dates inclusive).
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST (5 years), OBC Non-Creamy Layer (3 years), and PwBD (10 years) candidates as per government rules.
2. Educational Qualifications (As on 21.08.2026)
- Candidates must possess a Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. of India.
- Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory (Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations or Information Technology as a subject in High School/College).
- Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the opted local language of the applied State/UT is strictly required.
Application Fees & Intimation Charges
The application fee must be paid via online mode (Debit Cards, Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets/UPI) between 01.08.2026 and 21.08.2026.
Selection Process & Examination Structure
The recruitment process consists of three main stages. Candidates must note that there will be a negative marking penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in both Preliminary and Main exams.
1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Test):
- A 60-minute test comprising English Language (30 marks), Numerical Ability (35 marks), and Reasoning Ability (35 marks). Candidates must qualify in each test to be shortlisted for the Mains.
2. Main Examination (Objective Test):
- A 125-minute test covering General/Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude for a total of 200 marks. Marks obtained in the Main Examination only will be considered for final merit listing.
3. Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT):
- Conducted before joining. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be offered appointment. (Note: Candidates with a 10th standard mark sheet evidencing the local language are exempted from LLPT).
