The Open Recruitment Rally will commence from 6:00 AM onwards. Candidates must report at their respective venues up to 10:00 AM (cut-off-time) on their scheduled reporting dates.
1. Chumoukedima (Nagaland) Rally Details
- Venue: Nagaland Armed Police Training Centre (NAPTC), Chumoukedima District, Nagaland, Pin-797103.
- Districts Covered: All districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Sikkim.
2. Sri Vijaya Puram (Andaman & Nicobar Islands) Rally Details
- Venue: Netaji Stadium, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Sri Vijaya Puram, Atlanta Point, Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Pin-744104.
- Districts Covered: All districts of UT of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Eligibility Criteria (Education, Age & Domicile)
1. Age Limit:
- Candidates must be born between 01 January 2005 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive).
- If a candidate clears all selection stages, the upper age limit as on the date of enrollment should be 22 years.
2. Educational Qualification (Other than Science Subjects):
Candidates must possess any ONE of the following qualifications:
- Passed Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent Examination in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- Passed two years Vocational Course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
- Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation Technology/IT) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.
3. Domicile Requirement:
- Candidates must hold a Permanent Domicile Certificate of the covered districts issued by an authorized state/UT official.
- Children of Air Force Personnel (COAFP) currently serving or retired/discharged/deceased who are residing in the covered districts are also eligible provided they submit the requisite proof/certificates.
Medical & Physical Standards
Height:
- Male: Minimum 152 cms.
- Female: Minimum 152 cms (147 cms for candidates of North East or hilly regions of Uttarakhand; 150 cms for Lakshadweep).
Chest:
- Male: Minimum chest circumference 77 cms with an expansion of at least 5 cms.
- Female: Well-proportioned with a minimum expansion of 5 cms.
Visual Acuity: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 each eye (Hypermetropia +2.0 D, Myopia -1D). Post-LASIK/PRK candidates are not accepted.
General Health: Must be physically and mentally fit. Body tattoos are generally prohibited except on the inner face of forearms or customary tribal tattoos.
Selection Process & Testing Sequence
- Verification of Eligibility: Initial document screening (Original + Photocopies) at the rally venue.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT):
- PFT-I: 1.6 Km run (Males: within 7 mins | Females: within 8 mins).
- PFT-II (Males): 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, 20 Squats within specified times.
- PFT-II (Females): 10 Sit-ups (1m 30s), 15 Squats (1 min).
- Written Test: Objective type (Bilingual). Comprises English (20 Qs) and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA – 30 Qs). Duration: 45 minutes. (Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for wrong answers).
- Adaptability Test-I (AT-I): Objective written test assessing suitability for IAF conditions.
- Adaptability Test-II (AT-II): To select candidates adaptable to the military way of life.
- Medical Examination: Conducted at designated Medical Boarding Centres.
Mandatory Documents to Carry at Rally Venue
Candidates must bring the following items to the rally venue:
- HB pencil, eraser, sharpener, glue stick, stapler, and black & blue ballpoint pen.
- Ten un-attested recent passport-size color photographs (taken with the candidate holding a black slate in front of the chest with their name and date of photo written in white chalk).
- Original/DigiLocker printout and 4 self-attested photocopies of Matriculation and 10+2/Diploma/Vocational certificates and mark sheets.
- Original and 4 self-attested photocopies of Domicile Certificate or COAFP Certificate.
- Consent Form for PFT and Medical tests (signed by parents if the candidate is below 18 years).
- Valid Photo ID Proof (Aadhaar Card).
- NCC ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate (if applicable).
- NOC from current employer or Discharge Certificate (if applicable).

Pay, Allowances & Seva Nidhi Package
Agniveervayu will be enrolled under the Air Force Act 1950 for a period of 4 years.
- Monthly Package: Starts at Rs. 30,000/- (1st year) and goes up to Rs. 40,000/- (4th year). In-hand salary is 70%, while 30% is contributed to the Agniveers Corpus Fund.
- Seva Nidhi Package: Approx Rs. 10.04 Lakhs (excluding interest) will be paid as a lump sum upon completion of 4 years.
- Insurance: Non-contributory Life Insurance cover of Rs. 48 Lakhs.
