Fireman ‘A’

Candidates must:

  • Pass SSLC/SSC/Matriculation/10th Standard;
  • Satisfy the prescribed Physical Fitness Standards; and
  • Upload the Preliminary Medical Examination (PME) Certificate prescribed in Annexure A along with the online application.

Age Limit

The age limit is different for Fireman ‘A’ and the other notified posts. The age is calculated as on 05 October 2026.

Cook ‘A’

Preliminary Medical Examination for Fireman ‘A’

Candidates applying for Fireman ‘A’ must upload a scanned copy of the prescribed Preliminary Medical Examination (PME) Certificate with the online application and must also produce the certificate during the Skill Test.

The certificate must be issued by a Government Medical Officer (Allopathy) not below the rank of Assistant Civil Surgeon employed in Government Health Services. The PME Certificate is valid for six months. Only candidates who have uploaded the PME Certificate and meet the prescribed Physical Fitness Standards will be called for the Skill Test.
