Eligibility Criteria

  • Note: Experience certificates must be issued by recognized registered institutions under Central/State Govt. or NGOs registered on NITI Aayog, complete with the issuing authority’s letter number and date.

3. Age Limit (As on 01.06.2026):

  • Minimum Age: 30 Years.
  • Maximum Age: 65 Years.

4. Domicile & Character Requirement:

  • Only native residents of the Jamui district are eligible to apply.
  • The applicant must not have any criminal case registered against them anywhere in India, nor should they have ever been convicted of moral turpitude. An affidavit stating that they have not been expelled or blacklisted from any institution working in the field of child protection/development must be attached with the application.

Selection Process & Empanelment Duration

Selection Framework (Total 100 Marks):

1. Academic Evaluation (Maximum 80 Marks): Candidates will be evaluated based on their educational qualifications.

  • Graduation: 50 Marks.
  • Postgraduation: 20 Marks.
  • Ph.D.: 10 Marks.

2. Personal Interview (Maximum 20 Marks): Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview before a selection committee chaired by the Additional District and Sessions Judge (POCSO Court).

Empanelment Duration:

The empanelment period for a Support Person will be for a maximum of 2 years OR until the age of 65 years is completed, whichever is earlier. Empanelled individuals will not be considered government servants and cannot claim regularization.
