Salary Structure / Pay Scale

According to the Finance Department, Govt. of Gujarat resolutions, selected candidates will be appointed with a fixed pay structure for the first 5 years.

  • Fixed Salary (First 5 Years): Rs. 26,000/- per month.
  • After 5 Years (Upon satisfactory service): Appointed to the regular 7th Pay Commission matrix of Level-4 (Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100/-).

Eligibility Criteria (Education, Age & Languages)

1. Educational Qualification (As of 31.08.2026):

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Passed Higher Secondary School Certificate (12th Class/HSC) or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
  • Must possess a minimum one-year Health Sanitary Inspector’s Diploma course from a government-recognized institute OR a minimum one-year certificate course of Health Sanitary Inspector’s from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI).
  • (Equivalence Rule: Candidates who have passed 10th class and completed a 2-year ITI course, followed by a 12th English exam via Gujarat Open School/Board, OR 10th pass + 3 years Polytechnic Diploma are considered equivalent to 12th pass).
  • Must possess basic computer knowledge.
  • Must have adequate knowledge of Gujarati, Hindi, or both.

2. Age Limit (As of 31.08.2026):
